I had this news just waiting to be released; but I wanted to received the documents from closing the deal to make it official
We have finally acquired the full rights of the game Tyrannosaur Tex! We have gotten a ton of art from Slitherine and with the Rom that it is out there, and hopefully a back up of the source code of the game, we can finish the game, and even port it to PC and other platforms.
If you are not familiar with this game; it was a cancelled first person shooter for Gameboy Color. It is very impressive for the console! A ROM was dumped a couple of years back and We tried then to work something out with the IP owner. It wasn’t the right time for either one of us, but we’ve finally came to an agreement and hope to get this game out the door next year đŸ˜€
I mean, What a great setting for a game! A cowboy shooting down Dinosaurs and evil robots! We are set for a treat of a game!
We will work on this game slowly and hopefully by 2017 we can start taking pre-orders.
